The Cummins Quiet Connect Series 13-18kW Air-Cooled Standby Generator is the perfect power backup during an outage. It is powered by a 999 cc engine which runs from 13 to 20 kilowatts both on natural or propane gas. Order Air Cooled Standby Generator
The engine has a total harmonic distortion of 5% and has the ability to start and run a 5-ton A/C under full preload. It features an air-cooled cooling system with extremely quiet operation at a 65-decibel rating. This generator has the “Crank-Only” mode which reduces wear and tear while saving fuel and reducing noise. This can operate in cold weather out of the box.
With its remote monitoring feature, this can be used on any smartphone, laptop, tablet or desktop computer. It also has intelligent load management which prevents overload problems. On top of that, it has a low oil alert and an hour meter to monitor power and gas consumption in real-time. All units require Cummins Automatic Transfer Switch which is sold separately. The A045X497 model comes with a 200 Amp Service Entrance Rated Automatic Transfer Switch.
In addition, this Cummins Quiet Connect Series Air-Cooled Standby Generator is made in the USA. It is tested and certified per the latest EPA emissions, UL and CSA standards. It also meets NFPA 37 which allows the generator to be installed 18 inches from any home. The A045X497 model has a NEMA 3R rating for indoor and outdoor use.
Please Note: This Cummins standby generator is only compatible with the Cummins RSS Series Single-Phase Automatic Transfer Switch.

The Cummins Quiet Connect Series 13-18kW Air-Cooled Standby Generator is available in 4 models with different running power and optional Automatic Transfer Switch. Please select your preference from the drop-down menu above.
The Automatic Transfer Switch monitors utility power 24/7 independently without any action required by the homeowner. During a power interruption, the switch automatically transfers the load to the generator and when it resumes, the generator sends back the load to the utility.
